When you think of an exotic sports car you think Ferrari and for good reason too, the company has been producing race cars since 1929 and street-legal vehicles since 1947; the company has a very long history of producing fast cars. The styling of Ferrari has also been consistently unmatched by any other automaker, and of course the only only companies that even come close are also fashioning Italian design. The company has been through a lot over the years, it survived WWII and the rule of Mussolini, so we now take a look at some of the classics this historic company has produced since it's inception.
We absolutely cannot make this list without including the first car that bore the Ferrari name which was the Ferrari 125 S. The car is one of the rarest ever produced by the company, only 2 were produced, and we know that one is currently owned by Symbolic Motors. The car came with a V12 engine which produced 118bhp, a number considered very small by today's standards but at the time was quite large and worthy of the Ferrari name.
The next car we have chosen to include on our list is the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa which is one of the most successful race cars ever made by the company in the 1950's and the 1960's. The car won ten of the nineteen races that it entered between 1958 and 1961. The car also holds the record for the most expensive known sales price of a car at a whopping $12,100,000 making this one of the most sought after cars in the world.
